Just discovered German films, is anyone else a fan?
So, a friend showed me some German films the other day. I was shocked to see how unique it was in terms of production styles, and frankly the performers were amazing. I watched a few features and shorts and was hooked. Anyone else here a fan of German stuff? Do you have any recommendations for where to start digging deeper? Please let me know what you think.

I was in the same boat as you a while back. It's kind of an acquired taste to be honest; it's either exactly what you are looking for, or not. If you are trying to get some
from Germany then I would recommend it. They seem to have some pretty good stuff that I check out every week when I'm looking for something new. I always find something a little odd and charming that keeps me wanting to return.
