Avoiding Plumbing Scams
A friend of mine recently got hit with a massive plumbing bill for what sounded like a pretty basic repair, and it made me nervous thinking about how easy it is to get taken advantage of when you don’t know the details. I’ve had a couple of moments myself where I wasn’t sure if the price made sense, but I didn’t feel confident enough to question it. What do people usually do to protect themselves from scams or overpriced repairs?

Hi, after getting home from work I remembered a comment a friend had shared in a thread and decided to give it a try.
